On Site Project Coordinators are responsible for managing the job sites assigned to them to efficiently create happy customers and deliver quality installations. As a Project Coordinator, you simplify and enhance the customer experience by carrying out the roofing process steps from start to finish and attend to details both large and small. A Project Coordinator must organize and monitor their job sites to ensure it follows the company’s workflow process. The candidate must be detail-oriented to accurately track data and meet deadlines. You must be able to prioritize tasks according to customer happiness, quality execution and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Completing every item on the On Site Project Coordinator checklist for every project
  • Holding your assigned crew accountable to do the work according to our installation neatness standards
  • Reading and executing the work orders exactly
  • Manage tasks effectively and complete projects as expected
  • Actively analyzing each job site to decide what measures are needed to protect the customer’s property
  • Going above and beyond the items listed on the On Site Project Manager checklist to ensure the customer’s property is left in better condition than found
  • Monitoring the crew to ensure they are not being careless nor causing property and/or equipment damage
  • Alerting the GM immediately if the crew does not comply as directed
  • Communicating often with the customer to keep them informed about the job progress and involving them in decisions as much as possible
  • Endeavoring at all times to give our customers the best experience possible
  • Developing customer relationships and providing unrivaled customer service in order to build new business, increase branch profitability and further brand loyalty and recognition
  • Actively analyzing our policies and processes to generate ideas that will improve them for the purpose of helping us become a better company

  • Must have the ability to make cost estimates

Operations AssistantFull Time - Lynchburg, VA

Cenvar Roofing has an immediate opening for an Operations Assistant, at our Lynchburg, VA branch, who will ensure the facilities of the company are in good operating condition, which may include performing general maintenance, material handling & moving, operation of vehicles and some construction. The successful candidate will have 2 years professional experience in facilities operations and be proficient in work order completion.

Operations Assistant Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of the buildings is maintained
  • Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry/construction, painting, plumbing & electrical repairs as needed
  • Perform repair & maintenance work in accordance with factory, industry & Cenvar’s standards
  • Move or position furniture, vehicles (heavy duty, light weight, trailers, etc), physical structures & other equipment as needed
  • Receive deliveries and transfer them to workstations or other areas as dictated by management
  • Receive work orders, either verbally or in writing, and determine what parts, equipment and services are needed to perform necessary work
  • Retrieving parts, handling materials & order selection
  • Use power tools & hand tools as necessary

Minimum Skills & Requirements

Fleet MechanicFull Time - Lynchburg, VA

Cenvar Roofing has an immediate opening for a Fleet Mechanic, at our Lynchburg, VA branch, who will maintain the company’s vehicles as needed, to include both diesel and automotive operated engines. The successful candidate will have 5 – 10 years professional experience and be proficient in maintenance tracking and work order completion.

Fleet Mechanic Duties

  • Perform preventative, scheduled & emergency maintenance (to include breakdowns), diagnostics, repairs and inspections on light duty gas vehicles, medium & heavy duty diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, one ton duallys, forklifts & trailers that currently exist as company assets and any vehicles added to the company owned fleet in the future
  • Coordinate the repair & replacement of mechanical parts
  • Identify, repair & replace worn parts
  • Perform repair & maintenance work in accordance with factory, industry & Cenvar’s standards
  • Troubleshoot breakdowns
  • Utilization of electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections & diagnostic tests
  • Test mechanical products after repair to ensure proper performance
  • Maintain vehicle records by recording services & repairs electronically or manually
  • Maintain a clean & safe work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Skills & Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the Cenvar insurance policy

Cenvar Roofing has an immediate opening for a local Gutter Mechanic in Roanoke, Virginia. This full time opportunity will require you to be detail-oriented in order to install gutters efficiently and you will be expected to learn the trade. To be successful in this role, you must be able to prioritize tasks according to customer happiness and quality execution.

Gutter Installation Mechanic Duties

  • Repair & replacement of seamless aluminum gutters
  • Load truck with gutter job materials at the beginning of each day
  • Maintain a clean & neat company truck to include both interior and exterior
  • Keep a prompt appointment schedule as arranged by the office
  • Call the customer while en-route to the job to provide an ETA
  • Review work orders with customers to ensure accuracy
  • Perform a “walk around” with the customer prior to commencement of the job and upon its completion
  • Clean the job site after work is complete
  • Represent the company in the most professional manner at ALL times, to include: being polite, dependable and prompt
  • Exhibit excellent customer service
  • Be well educated about the products we install and our services
