As Project Coordinator, you will be vital to the success of your crew and the growth of your branch. In this position, you will learn the roofing industry and our business systems while building upon your existing professional skills.

On Site Project Coordinators are responsible for managing crews and the job sites assigned to them to efficiently create happy customers and deliver quality installations. As a Project Coordinator, you simplify and enhance the customer experience by carrying out the roofing process steps from start to finish and attend to details both large and small. A Project Coordinator must organize and monitor their job sites to ensure they follow the company’s workflow process. The candidate must be detail-oriented to accurately track data and meet deadlines. You must be able to prioritize tasks according to customer happiness, quality execution and efficiency.

Fleet Mechanic

Cenvar Roofing has an immediate opening for a Fleet Mechanic, at our Lynchburg, VA branch, who will maintain the company’s vehicles as needed, to include both diesel and automotive operated engines. The successful candidate will have 5 – 10 years professional experience and be proficient in maintenance tracking and work order completion.

Fleet Mechanic Duties

  • Perform preventative, scheduled & emergency maintenance (to include breakdowns), diagnostics, repairs and inspections on light duty gas vehicles, medium & heavy duty diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, one ton duallys, forklifts & trailers that currently exist as company assets and any vehicles added to the company owned fleet in the future
  • Coordinate the repair & replacement of mechanical parts
  • Identify, repair & replace worn parts
  • Perform repair & maintenance work in accordance with factory, industry & Cenvar’s standards
  • Troubleshoot breakdowns
  • Utilization of electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections & diagnostic tests
  • Test mechanical products after repair to ensure proper performance
  • Maintain vehicle records by recording services & repairs electronically or manually
  • Maintain a clean & safe work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Skills & Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the Cenvar insurance policy
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 – 10 years experience as a diesel & automotive heavy equipment mechanic, facilities or maintenance mechanic or an acceptable combination of education & experience
  • Must have a vast knowledge in diesel engine components, gasoline engines and hydraulic systems
  • The candidate must provide their own hand tools
  • Must be able to effectively and efficiently track time spent on assets
  • Must have basic knowledge of computers

This full-time opportunity will be responsible for pick-up & delivery, as well as loading & unloading trailers. In this role, you will service the Roanoke, New River Valley and I-81 corridor areas. This is a full time plus overtime position with the expectation that you will work 50 – 60 hours per week.

Essential Responsibilities : Class B Local Truck / Delivery Driver

  • Picking up and delivering roofing materials.
  • 5 day work week: Monday thru Friday. (occasional Saturdays as required)
  • Traveling between pick-up locations and regional branches.
  • Requires morning, afternoon and evening availability.
  • Communicates necessary information daily to branch General Managers & Asset Manager.
  • Follows route assignments as directed and completes end of day documentation and check out process.
  • Assists with transporting company vehicles / assets as needed.
  • Performs all duties as scheduled by Asset Manager and assist as directed to meet branch needs.

Successful candidates will have the following qualities:

  • Previous experience as a Class B pickup/delivery driver.
