Cenvar Roofing an immediate opening for a local Material Handler in central Virginia. This full-time opportunity will be responsible for ensuring delivery trucks are appropriately loaded for the job at hand.

Material Handler Duties*:

  • Reports directly to the Material/Asset Manager
  • Supports branch operations
  • Picks, prepares, labels, and assists in loading job orders
  • Maintains a clean and neat yard/work area
  • Performs all duties as scheduled by Asset Manager and assisting as directed to meet branch needs
  • Assists in maneuvering delivery vehicles
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Double checks all loads for accuracy and ensures they are thoroughly secured for delivery
  • Provides warehouse support as needed

Lead Development Specialist Duties

Established in 2012, Cenvar Roofing is a residential re-roofing company located in Lynchburg, Virginia with eight branches across the Commonwealth and a vision of continued expansion. In 1996, founder and CEO Chris Good entered the construction and roofing industry. In 1997, he established Good’s Construction company which specialized in decks and additions, eventually evolving into the construction of high end homes in the Lynchburg, VA area. By 2011, as the housing crisis deepened, Chris saw the opportunity in the residential roofing industry and made the decision to specialize in roof replacements moving forward. Position Summary & Impact

Cenvar Roofing is seeking a sales executive to lead and organize the sales division of the firm, functioning as the Vice President of Sales for a $25 million company. The Vice President of Sales will be an experienced professional with a history of sales management in a service based industry who is ready to enthusiastically lead in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will have the confidence from previous sales and leadership experience to design and implement successful strategies that promote company growth, financial strength of the firm and operating efficiency. You will be responsible for the company’s overall sales program, including strategies, systems and results; key personality traits required to implement such change will be excellent interpersonal and persuasive skills. You will work closely with organization leaders to effectively design and implement sales processes that synchronize seamlessly with production. Additionally, the Vice President of Sales will be resourceful, self-motivated, driven to high performance and able to build a robust sales program & team. We are seeking a candidate who will value team above all else and be of the mindset that company success is born from fostering relationships.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Will embody Cenvar’s Team Purpose Statement and Core Values and will endeavor to lead by example with these foundational values forefront
  • Supervise the productivity of the Cenvar sales staff
  • Overhaul current sales system
  • Establish a sales system (design, develop and lead) that will encompass sales procedure, sales management, budget forecasting & planning of $25 million in annual revenue channel, increase sales, decrease operational costs
  • Prepare regular sales reports showing sales volume, conversion rates and lead sourcing
  • Work closely with our analytical department to address potential estimate accuracy and profit margin issues
  • Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations to stakeholders
  • Responsible for Continuing Education for current sales professionals by leading in house seminars to help improve productivity and efficacy
  • Identify and implement strategies to penetrate new markets
  • Ensure the transition of customer files from sales to production is seamless and synchronized
  • Work directly with the executive team to ensure all sales strategies are in line with the company purpose and Core Values
  • Attend and contribute to leadership and board meetings as needed

Experience

Essential Responsibilities : Class B Local Truck / Delivery Driver

  • Picking up and delivering roofing materials.
  • 5 day work week: Monday thru Friday. (occasional Saturdays as required)
  • Traveling between pick-up locations and regional branches.
  • Requires morning, afternoon and evening availability.
  • Communicates necessary information daily to branch General Managers & Asset Manager.
  • Follows route assignments as directed and completes end of day documentation and check out process.

Are you in search of a career and not just a job? Management Training Program / On Site Project Coordinators (PC) are hired into a 2-4 year training program that will promote successful trainees into a Sales position, before finally finding them placement as a branch General Manager, a position that earns well over $100K annually.

As Project Coordinator, you will be vital to the success of your team members and the growth of your branch. While demonstrating superior customer service, you will lead by example and set the bar high for performance. You will assist your General Manager with setting objectives and metrics to ensure your team’s achievement in meeting them through your ability to motivate and inspire.

Management Training Program / On Site Project Coordinators are responsible to manage the job sites assigned to them to efficiently deliver happy customers and quality installations. They must organize and monitor their job sites to ensure it follows the company’s workflow process. The candidate must be detail-oriented to accurately track data and meet deadlines. You must be able to prioritize tasks according to customer happiness, quality execution and efficiency.

Outstanding candidates will be ambitious, have the desire to learn leadership, be efficient problem solvers, and have strong interpersonal skills. Candidates must be willing to relocate upon promotions. A valid driver’s license is required.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Completing every item on the On Site Project Coordinator checklist for every project.
  • Holding your assigned crew accountable to do the work according to our installation neatness standards.
  • Reading and executing the work orders exactly.
  • Actively analyzing each job site to decide what measures are needed to protect the customer’s property.
  • Going above and beyond the items listed on the On Site Project Manager checklist to ensure we leave the customer’s property in better condition than we found it.
  • Monitoring the crew to make sure they are not being careless and causing property or equipment damage.
  • Alerting the GM immediately if the crew does not comply as directed.
  • Communicating often with the customer to keep them informed about the job progress and involving them in decisions as much as possible.
  • Endeavoring at all times to give our customers the best experience possible.
  • Developing customer relationships and providing unrivaled customer service in order to build new business, increase branch profitability and further brand loyalty and recognition.
  • Actively analyzing our policies and processes to generate ideas that will improve policies and procedures for the purpose of helping us become a better company.
